Usher Syndrome
This project was in response to a companywide brief set by the CEO of Havas Lynx. The brief was to come up with a fundraising day to raise awareness for those who are living with Usher syndrome. Usher syndrome is a condition characterized by partial or total hearing loss and/or vision loss which worsens over time. Not many people know about Usher Syndrome, what it is and what it means for people who live with it. I came up with the idea of hosting a Day Of Silence, to support the CureUsher movement, raising money and raising awareness of this underrepresented group of people. Not many people know about Usher Syndrome, what it is and The print campaign above raises awareness of CureUsher day by representing the experiences of people living with the condition. It builds up to a Day Of Silence in support of the symptoms of Usher Syndrome to help people better understand the condition. People taking part in the Day Of Silence will collect donations. Celebrities who are very active on social media could be sponsored to be muted for a day. Radio stations or news channels could also go silent for the day. People who took part can post about their experience and how it made them feel, raising awareness for how it could feel to have Usher syndrome.
