Crow Gin
People from the Crow tribe have always lived in harmony with their land. Fishermen were inspired by their way of living with nature and followed in their footsteps. Fishing began for generations along the Yellowstone river. The fishermen would prepare their fish on the banks using the botanicals they found which created delicious recipes. The banks became known as the ‘fishermen’s grill.’ Overtime this increase in human activity began to have a detrimental effect on the river and its eco system. One of the fishermen always dreamt of creating a product where he could give back to the river and people could have a taste of the Yellowstone river without destroying it. Crow Gin was then made from using the botanicals from the banks of the Yellowstone river found by the fishermen when herbing their fish. Part of the money made from Crow Gin will go towards the preservation of the Yellowstone River helping the fish’ habitat.
